Pineridge Nursery School services have been expanded to include a "take-out" option. The invitation to join is extended to families who may be interested in a virtual early learning opportunity for their child. If you are looking for engaging play ideas that will keep little hands and minds busy learning in the safety of your home, this may be for you! The activities are pre-recorded, not live, so that families can choose a suitable time in their schedule for the child to participate.
We are using Google Classroom as our online platform to deliver this program. Materials are available to be picked up at the school. A library of virtual learning packages is being built, each including a video, program plan and corresponding Busy Bag of simple craft materials. The pre-recorded videos (approx. length 12-20 minutes) will be facilitated by one of our own engaging and professional RECE's Miss Monique! She will promote the activity, encouraging creativity and fun while at the same time packing in a variety of learning experiences, all delivered in a manner sure to capture a young child's attention. We believe that children learn best through active play while having fun and have used the professional resource guide "How Does Learning Happen?" Ontario's Pedagogy for the Early Years, to plan and implement this virtual program.

Once you complete and return the form you will be invited to join the virtual classroom. The $10 registration fee can be paid with your first order. Payment information can be found at the bottom of each order form. There is no obligation to purchase once you join.

Miss
Monique is a dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator who has been in the
field since 1995. She joined the Pine Ridge team in 2012 and has been
responsible for planning and implementing quality programming for children 2-5
years. She is especially skilled at providing fun and creative learning
opportunities for children both in person and now virtually! Her dynamic manner
of teaching keeps things fresh and interesting for distance preschool learners.
